How do you find good salons?

I just moved to a new city.





Other than looking in a phone book, how am I supposed to find a good hair salon?How do you find good salons?
Ask around. If you see somebody whose hair looks good, ask them where they went. Go to the hair salons that you hear are good and look around, and ask the workers about price, if appointments are needed, and how long they take to fill up. Chances are that all the good places will only have appointments and will book up pretty fast and the place will look really nice too. Really though, you just have to try places until you find what works for you!How do you find good salons?
Try to find a local stylist with their own salon, they always do the best work.

yelp.com is a good source for reviews of just about every local business. Give it a try.

Word of mouth...The locals will let you know whose good and bad...You just need to ask around...
